Pricing

Straightforward pricing for chiropractic, acupuncture and massage.

What a chiropractor costs in Scottsdale depends on three things: whether it is a first visit or a follow-up, whether you are paying per visit or for a course of care, and whether you pair an adjustment with acupuncture or massage. This page explains each. Current self-pay rates come from the front desk, so the number you get is the number you pay.

What sets the price

How much does a chiropractor cost here, and why

A first visit costs more than a follow-up because it includes the history, the hands-on exam, the explanation and, when appropriate, the first treatment. A follow-up chiropractic adjustment cost is lower: a re-check and the adjustment. Acupuncture and massage are priced per session by type and length. None of it is hidden; the front desk quotes the current self-pay rate for the visit you are booking before you book it.

For a course of care, packages bring the per-visit price down, and combination visits that pair an adjustment with acupuncture or massage are priced as one visit rather than two. An affordable chiropractor in Scottsdale is not the one with the lowest single-visit number; it is the one whose plan gets you to fewer visits, which is what the re-check at every visit here is for.

Current self-pay rates for the practice are being finalized and are available by phone. Call the office, tell the front desk which service you want, and they will quote it. If the rate changes, you will be told before the visit, never after.

Insurance and Medicare

Insurance, Medicare, and self-pay

Whether we are a chiropractor that accepts insurance in Scottsdale for your plan depends on the plan, and the same is true of Medicare: chiropractic benefits vary widely by carrier and by policy, and Medicare covers a specific set of chiropractic services and not others. Rather than list carriers here and be wrong for your policy, the office checks. Call with your insurance card, and the front desk will tell you what your plan covers before you book.

If you are looking for a chiropractor that takes Medicare in Scottsdale, or an in-network provider for a particular carrier, ask; if we are not the right fit for your coverage, we will say so. Many patients choose self-pay for the simplicity, and packages and combination visits are built for that.

What is included

What is included in a first visit

The first visit is the one that costs more. This is what you get for it.

  • History

Where it hurts, when it started, what you have tried, and anything that points to a problem we should not treat.

  • Hands-on exam

Motion and posture checks, palpation, and the nerve tests the condition calls for.

  • Plain-language explanation

What is going on and why, before anything is adjusted.

  • First treatment

When appropriate, treatment begins the same visit: an adjustment, acupuncture, or both.

  • A plan with a re-check

How many visits it should take to know the plan is working, and a re-check at each one.
