Her story

A female chiropractor in Scottsdale, by way of Seattle

Dr. Tracey Ryder graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2003 and moved to the Seattle area, where she ran a family wellness practice for eight years. That is where the habits patients notice here were formed: the exam before the table, the plain-language explanation of what she found, and a plan that changes as the patient does. It is also where she completed her ICPA pediatric certification, in 2009, and her Webster certification for prenatal care.

She came home to the Valley in 2011. The practice widened: athletes, veterans, and the personal injury and work injury cases that need careful documentation as much as careful treatment. Around the same time she added acupuncture, became board certified in it by the State of Arizona, and began writing plans that use adjustments and acupuncture together, sometimes in the same visit. Patients searching for a chiropractor acupuncturist in Scottsdale find that combination rare; here it is one provider.

She is a native of the Scottsdale and Phoenix area and grew up near the Old Town location the practice now occupies. If you have been searching for a female chiropractor near me from Old Town, Tempe or south Scottsdale, the office is on Scottsdale Road between McDowell and Thomas.

How she works

How Dr. Tracey works

The six things patients mention most in reviews and at the front desk.

  • Exam first

Nobody is adjusted before she has examined them and explained what she found.

  • Manual and instrument

Both techniques, chosen for the joint and the patient, never one for everyone.

  • The cause, not the symptom

The joint that stopped moving, the muscle guarding it, the habit that keeps it there.

  • One plan, three services

Adjustments, acupuncture and massage written into one plan by one provider.

  • Plain language

What is going on, what she will do about it, how you will know it is working.

  • Injury documentation

Crash and work injury cases documented at every visit since 2011.

Immediate pain relief after 10 weeks of limited success with physical therapy. I was unable to walk without extreme discomfort, prior to treatment, however I walked out at b less than level 3 pain -- a considerable improvement

Real questions

What people ask about Dr. Tracey.

Searched in Scottsdale Is there a chiropractor with 20 years of experience in Scottsdale?

Yes. Dr. Tracey Ryder has practiced since 2003, eight of those years in family practice in the Seattle area and the rest in the Valley since 2011. A chiropractor with 20 years of experience in Scottsdale has seen the common problems thousands of times and the uncommon ones often enough to recognize them, which is what the exam here is built on.

Is Dr. Tracey a female chiropractor?

Yes. Many patients, particularly for prenatal care and for those who simply prefer it, search for a female chiropractor near me and book here for that reason.

Does she do acupuncture herself?

Yes. She is board certified in acupuncture by the State of Arizona and provides it personally, which is why one plan here can use adjustments and acupuncture in the same visit.

Does she treat kids and pregnant patients?

Yes. ICPA certified for pediatric care since 2009 and Webster certified for prenatal care. See the pediatric and prenatal pages.
